Start-up Visa Canada (SUV)

The Start-up Visa Program in Canada is designed for talented entrepreneurs seeking to immigrate to Canada, establishing and developing innovative and creative business ideas that have the potential to bring economic benefits and create employment opportunities for Canadians.

SUV was introduced by Ministry of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship (IRCC) in April 2013 with a pilot period of 5 years. By 2018, SUV became an official and permanent residence program.

Spouses and children under 22 years old are eligible for accompanying visas.

Designated Organization

Should have endorsement from a designated organization committing support and issuing a Letter of Support for the startup project.
