Business Innovation and Investment (188 Visa)

Australian immigration investment subclass 188 is an Australian temporary residence visa program with a term of up to 5 years. Applicants can apply for this visa if nominated by an Australian state or territory and invited to apply visa by the Australian Department of Immigration.

The program is for investors and family members including: Spouse and single children under 23 years old (dependent).

There are 2 popular forms of investment:

Business Innovation stream (subclass 188A)

For those who have business ability and want to establish, develop, and manage a new or existing business in Australia.

Business Investor Stream (subclass 188B)

Below 55 years old, good health, and a clean family legal record.

Migration Points

Attain a minimum of 65 points in the migration points assessment.

Total Assets

Minimum of 1.25 million AUD(188A) & 2.5 million AUD (188B).

Investment (188B)

Minimum investment of 2.5 million AUD in a designated fund.

Management Experience (188B)

Minimum of 3 years of direct business management and investment in a qualifying fund of at least 1.5 million AUD.

Business (188A)

Vietnamese Enterprise: Minimum annual revenue of AUD 750,000.

The Nominated Business: Hold a stake ranging from 10% to 51%.

Nominated State

Nomination by a state & Receipt of visa invitation.
